Creating a new document list

ImandrA can display the contents of more than one folder at a time. This can be useful if you want to compare the contents of two folders or to switch between document folders often.

To create and arrange a new document list.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select the folder for which you want to display the contents in the new document list.
  2. Press Ctrl+N. A new rightmost tab appears in the document list pane with the name of the currently selected folder as its label, for example, Test similar to the following figure.

At this point, the contents of both folders (Demo and Test in the preceding figure) occupy the same pane. You can use this layout as-is if you want, and even add more folder tabs, if desired.

  1. If you want to display the document lists side by side, right-click any tab and choose New Horizontal Tab Group or New Vertical Tab Group. A new splitter bar appears and divides the document list pane into two document lists, each displaying a selected folder’s contents, similar to the following figure.

  1. To close a document list, click the Close button or right-click the tab to be closed and choose Move to Previous Tab Group.
